General Question about Peter and Jane

I know within other versions of Peter Pan it's shown that Peter returns to Wendy to find her older and with child (Jane). Whom he ends up falling for...my question is if there is a book or specific movie that goes more into detail about their relationship.

Guess for me growning up on the story of Peter Pan ~ I use to assume he had a thing for Wendy but now looking at the cartoons again ... I see he mainly asked her to be around him so he could have a mother for himself and the lost boys. So the whole storyline of him being with her daughter really threw me for a loop.

Thanks to any assistance.

That's a good healthy question. I heard somewhere on DeviantART that when I was looking for fanart on Peter/Wendy and Peter/Jane, someone there said that Peter falls in love with Jane's daughter in the future. It might of been mention in one of the books.

In the books, Peter and Wendy did have a bit more romance than in the Disney movie. He treated Wendy, Jane, and Margaret as mothers, though. I know I didn't make that much sense. ;)

In Hook, he fell in love with Margaret/Moira and gave up his youth to be with her.
