Who played the foreman?

I thought the guy who played the foreman gave a great performance, very funny but also touching; you could see he was basically a decent guy who was under pressure from the top and trying to keep everyone pleased. However I didn't catch his name and couldn't find out from the cast list, so does anyone know the actor's name?
