I am a huge fan of the Lion king and Mulan. I saw Lion king 2 and hoped it'd be at least quite good, but I was left very disappointed. I really hated lion king 2 a lot, I just hope Mulan 2 won't be like this!
I was wondering for those who have seen Lion king 2 and Mulan 2 to give me their opinion please?

It's been a while since i've seen the lion king two, but i know i liked it for the most part, aside from some weird dream sequency thing where it's all colourful...something about "Upendi" or something. Anyway, I liked the lion king two but i was disappointed in Mulan two. They ruined mushu and developped a rather weak storyline. But i will say that the scenes with the princesses are adorable (aside from another dream sequency song thingy, which is annoying) Also, while utterly unimpressed with Mushu, i was pretty impressed with Yao Ling and Chen-po, they were actually really good in this. I would say watch it, but don't expect much.

shareThe Lion King 2 sucked. I'm sorry to say, but I remember seeing both for the first time. I was quite disappointed from watching that sequal. And even though Lion King 1 1/2 made a mockery of the first Lion King, it was still funny...^^; I have yet to see Mulan 2, they're airing it on the Disney Channel like next week or something. Go see it then if you have cable :3

It was kind of a sappy storyline (well, so was LK2) and Shang went from serious to silly. You might as well change the name of that character because they weren't the same... except for the whole anal retentive rules thing. Then the end happened, yadda yadda, they meet in the middle, you know the drill. It was a cutesy-wootsy film with nothing really to talk about the next day.

I think Lion King 2 was a lot better sequel than Mulan's sequel...
It all started with a mouse...the pen and paper helped!
They're both good. Lion King II had some good points about racism and Mulan II about being different. Yeah Mulan II did make Mushu the antagonist but that's fine for me, I mean in the end Mushu also helped Mulan and Mushu had never been treated and even "admitted" by the Gods at first (Mulan I) having his condition like that of course makes him wants the pedestal, he said in the movie that he had been wanting that pedestal for 500 years.
shareI've seen both Mulan 2 and the Lion King 2(and their respective originals), and I must say I like both of them. Good stories, good music(although I think I like the music from the LK2 better), and good lessons to learn in the end, mostly about love and how it conquers all.
Although the originals were better than the sequals, both Mulan 2 and the Lion King 2 were good sequals as far as sequals go.

The Lion King II is definately better.
The sequel to Mulan was okay, but not great.

They're both bad to some degree, but I think Mulan 2 was worse. It was clear that they skimped on a lot of details, including animation, script, etc.
I actually liked the soundtrack from LK2 a bit better than the one from LK1.
