I can't remember exactly how my part goes, because its been a while since I played, but Ryudo, Elena, and that little disabled girl are in the pretty field, and when the girl sees Elena she screams, "Don't eat me!" And Elena is rather bewildered and Ryudo makes some snide remark about how Elena HAS been getting fatter lately so what else should that girl have thought?
shareMelfice: "So you came, I've been waiting for you."
Ryudo: "Melfice! Let's settle this!"
Mareg: "The time has finally come. You will pay for your deeds with your life"
Melfice: "I'll escort you to your funeral. Let me give you a taste of this idle's incredible power. This sword is the power those village idiots believed in. The power of justice."
Ryudo: "What justice?1 True justice, true power is in the heart. Not in something vile like you."
Elena: "Ryudo, are you sure? Really?"
Ryudo: "I am no longer fulled by your appearance. You are not my brother. You are Valmar! Not Melfice!"
Melfice: "Words are meaniless now. Dance with me brother."
I think I might be wrong on some of the words, but the Melfice battle is my favorite in the game, so I have a file saved right before. I've fought him over 20 times.
That's a damn tough battle! That's what I love about the battle system, you can get really close to losing, but just scrape through to victory. Makes the desperation really kick in!!
shareyes, I always considred Grandia 2 to be the absolute best RPG, ever. he story, the charcters, the battle system. A true masterpiece. Its a classic. But, FFX was just a rip off, honestly. Tidus is a preppy brat, ryudo, is amerc who actaully becomes a man, and a hero.
