Melfice and Sephiroth

Melfice looks like sephiroth in many ways they like to kill to achieve their goals, and they are good villains

reply

Melfice hardly gets any character development unlike Sephiroth but all villians lately seem to be like Sephiroth and it sorta gets annoying but I admit he's better than Zera.

reply

Zera = Infuriating

reply

Melfice > sephiroth.

reply

Melfice doesn't look like Sephiroth in any way. The swords are of two types, hell they're even different colors. Hair, facial features. Where do you even GET the Sephiroth vibe? Melifice is on a totally different level than Sephiroth, there's no real connection anywhere.

reply

I think he gets the vibe by Melfice Cool looking features.

reply

That's kinda reasonable. I mean Melfice IS almost the exact definition of "Cool." But I still don't get the mix. Melfice has blue hair, a black and gray sword, a horn sticking out of his head, ARMOR, and a full human body. Sephiroth had a long ass silver sword, silver hair, a cape if even, and half a human body, again, IF EVEN. There's no connection at all. You need more? Melfice kills people because he's being controlled by the Horns, and enjoys doing it because he thinks he's better than everyone else. Sephiroth kills people because he believes he's bringing to them peace to help them ease their pain, and help them reach the Promised Land.

Again, No Connection what so ever. There's just no arguing it.

reply

I do agree.....AND Sephiroth is good, and FF7 is 85 times better than Grandia II also :)

reply

Because Final Fantasy 7 is every gamers *beep* bible, right? But we all know Grandia 1 is better than that overrated FF7. And the music by the unbeliveable Noriyuki Iwadare blasts yet again overrated Nobuo Uematsu out of the water.

reply

Well, thats where you're wrong, I'm sure Grandia 1 is very good, but FF7 is extremely awesome. And I can't be bothered to justify. Plus, the music from FF7 is great for its time.

"I pity you who does not understand. Everything is important to me."

reply

I agree with you. I'm not one of those people who played FFVII and refused to believe every game was *beep* after that. I played them all, RIGHT from the NES/SNES days all the way up to the PS2 and FFXII days.
I played and completed ALL of them, i played and completed Grandia and Grandia II, and a million more RPG's on top of that.
In my (humble) opinion, i would say that FFVII was the best of the bunch. The size, the scope, the characters, the storyline.....
I mean, i can't even remember the name of most of the people from the Grandia games, and the fights are somewhat boring.
But hey, it's all personal preference in here, so don't go fighting like children over something that is completely pointless.
(To me it seems you are 'cool' if you like a *beep* game over a great game)

reply

WAY TO GO ! Finally someone who agrees with me damn . Anyways yeah Grandia 2 was a great game ...bye now.@_@

reply

Grandia is a BAG of *beep* Grandia 2 is alright, but too easy. Final Fantasy VII shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath, cos it's 50 times better. I've said it before and i shall say it again.

reply

I beg to differ. grandia 2 is just *beep* win, FF7 was so sterotypicly boring. "I AM SEPHIROTH LOOK AT ME!", Melfice was just a killer being controlled by a demon.

reply

Beg to differ all you want, you, my friend, are wrong.

reply

Yeah, just let this guy win already, k?

reply

Yeah, let me win, i won't stop posting until i do win lol

reply

THEN YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO KEEP POSTING BECAUSE YOU ARE FULL OF WRONG AND FAIL.

I've played a ways into FFVII. It's... OKAY. It's not terrible. It's not amazing. Cloud is a crappy hero, and Sephiroth is... again, OKAY, though I'd say he's sub-par. They've got the style thing down for him, sure, but his character blows behind. Most of the game's redeeming values lie in side characters and story twists. Oh, and I know some of the fanboys know this, but for those who don't:

AERIS WAS NOT THE FIRST PLAYABLE CHARACTER TO DIE IN AN RPG OR FINAL FANTASY GAME GAH SHUT UP. That stuff started in FFII, and happened in FFIV and FFV that I can recall at least.

Grandia II, however, is one of the greatest RPGs known to man. The character development is overall WONDERFUL... well, except Ryudo. One moment he's making sexual advances towards nuns, two days later he's all I M IN LURVE WIT ELENA! With absolutely no transition whatsoever.

Everyone else was amazing. Elena as she realized the corruption in the church and came to terms with her faith, Millenia as she changed from a heartless monster into one of the heroes, Tio as she learned more and more about what it was to be human, Mareg, as he grew more enlightened about the world outside of his village, and Roan who...

Who...

Uh...

Okay, Roan can suck it. I guess he wasn't really good either.

Grandia II's battle system is amazing, taking strategy while still giving you the turn-based feel, and just about EVERY spell had FMV effects, making it beautiful. If you HONESTLY like FFVII's "Hit Attack Until it Dies" system (Okay, so I'm exaggerating... a little) so much more, there is something seriously wrong with you, opinions be damned.
