vive's parents were obviously rich, her dad was a lawyer or something and threw a big party for her birthday after he won a big case. what happened to that money? it looks like vive and shep were in a bit of a financial pinch when they were raising the kids so did she not inherit the money? were there more siblings in the book that inherited the money? what happened to the abbott money?
