Resolution

I really enjoyed the gritty aspect of the film as well as the potrayal of the characters and the way they had to survive in the ruthless streets of Mexico.

I was very disappointed with the sudden ending of the film. I thought something was being set-up when Rufino got raped by his father and the girlfriend got it from the cop. But, suddenly the movie ended and nothing happened.

There was no resolution and it felt a lot like an easy way out. I was expecting some elaborate climax on the storyline between the father, the cop, the girlfriend and the dude that stole the money. But sadly enough, nothing happened.

I know....that's life and there are no answers or resolutions for every single problem that it is presented to you, but I expected a little more originality and essence.

is that where it ended for you? well i just saw it a couple of nights ago and Rufino actually gets revenge for his girlfriend on the dirty cop "Ochoa" and just as they are about to leave he realizes that the money's stolen so he goes to his friend "Cero" or "Zero" i forget which, and sadly enough gets killed by him, I wasn't thrilled about the ending either but overall i still liked the movie, well anyway that's what i saw

Well, yes...but I was expecting that. I wanted a little bit more than just a quick fix. Like yourself...I still enjoyed the film very much.

No resolution? Rufino was killed, that's the resolution. No offense but were you expecting a sort of "happy end"? or a "grand finale" Hollywood-like with all the baddies killed or jailed?

This movie tried to be realistic not a farcical account.

I recommend you to watch some of the best movies by a couple of the most recognized directors of all time

Accatone by Pasolini
Los olvidados by Buñuel

have you already seen them? do you remember the resolution of those movies that deals with similar subjects?

Not yet? then rent them and tell me again what do you think about "De la calle" last minutes.
