This has been wracking my brain for years! What film was being spoofed when Conker enters the Tediz base, and when he is chased into the lift?

that was a spoof of james camerons movie "aliens" where (i think) ripley and hicks run for the elevator and the alien is right behind them

yes thats what happens however in aliens the head gets crushed instead of the tail like in bfd
