one of the most overrated games ever

My friend and I just got an Xbox One the other day along with Rare Replay. We only wanted it because of Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Now that I've gotten to play it I really don't see what's so great about it. There are moments that are amazing but there's far too many instances that take you out of the game entirely and just piss you off.

The camera is one of the worst I've ever had to experience. It's inverted and focused only on Conker's front half so if you need to look around you're practically screwed.

You spend most of the game backtracking trying to figure out where the hell you're going. Most of the deaths are caused by complete BS or unfair enemy AI.

While all that is bad, the worst part of this game BY FAR are the shooting sequences. Whether it's with a slingshot or gun, there's no proper way to aim and no cross hair/reticle so you'll wind up needing about 10 or so practice shots before you even come close to your target.

Most of the humor is spot-on though. The only thing that kept us going to the end were the characters and the games amazing sense of humor. I don't hate this game by any means, I'm just lost as to why it's heralded as a classic masterpiece.

I love most other games from Rare as this was the only one I hadn't played before. There's just so much in this game that's irritating and causes unwarranted frustration. When you're sitting there angry at the game because you know you want to get better that's a different story. However, in this case it was so difficult to keep going because of the poor level design and *beep* gameplay.

Maybe it's different for me because I didn't grow up on it like most people
