DVD release soon?

Like hollywoodpsychic's post, I too am looking for information on this film coming out on DVD. I had heard that a Special Edition of 'How the West Was Won' was going to be released with this as one of the bonus features but so far there has been no response from either of the companies that released the region 1 DVD editions(MGM and Warner Bros). Since I heard this in 2003 I'm not holding my breath.

If anyone has any information about this film coming out(either as a stand-alone edition or as mentioned in my previous paragraph), could they let me know via this board or privately?

Maybe MGM or WB will release a 45th Anniversary edition of HTWWW(2007, by my reckoning) and perhaps we'll see CA attached to it(maybe they'll even go so far as to release HTWWW in the patented "Smilebox" that CA is made in. That would be really neat, wouldn't it?).

Please, can anyone provide any information about the eventual DVD release of this movie? Any info(no matter if it's negative or positive) will be gratefully received.
