Some Love Hia voices are OLD!

I looked at wikipedia under Love Hina, and I've discovered that Mona Marshall, the voice of Motoko Aoyama is 60 years old! I thought it was another young actress who did Motoko. Anybody knew that Motoko's voice is from a 60 year old actress?

Next on the old list is Barbara Goodson, the voice of Kitsune, is 57 years old.

Wendee Lee, the voice of Kaolla Su and Soul Calibur III's Xianghua, is also old, for she's 53.

Mari Devon, the voice of Haruka Urashima, is 47.

Julie Maddalena, the voice of Sara McDougal, is 43.

Julie Ann Taylor, who plays ditzy Mutsumi Otohime, is 41.

Who do guys think that these old women can do voices of young tenants?

Because they're good at it.

I'm always amazed at how many different voices a voice actor can do, like for instance the simpsons characters, there's one guy that does so many different voices that it's almost unbelieveable.

Most of these animes and dubs use real VOICE actors, unlike some animation movies and series here in belgium. They use 'celebrities' or so-called 'actors' (actually actors that can't get roles on the big screen or tv anymore), and it just sounds like crap because they're no real voice actors.

On a sidenote, i know a few old ladies that still have a high-pitched girly voice.

Then don't do anything. Don't come near me. All you ever do is hurt me.

lol it's common and they do a good job so why change it? Just look at the Simpsons, the woman who does Bart's voice is at least in her 40s

weirdly? the voice of motoko is the lead character in flcl. took me a lil while to notice it.
