An interesting twist almost happened...but didn't

It was the Kankel junior (forgot his name) who wanted to know what the statue looked like.
So imagine that he got Danny to look at it....and Danny would have returned with intact vision and told him what the statue looked like.

The kid would have lost faith in his father.....the fathers' plot might have been unveiled by his own son.

But I have to confess the current plot is still better and funnier.
