Awful, just plain awful!

I can honestly say that this is the worse adaptation and/or remake of any book/film I have ever seen. Updating it was bad enough but changing characters, names and motives was riduculous!

this is showing on itv at the moment...it is truly dire..what was anyone involved in it thinking? tv movies are pretty ropey at times..but i think this wins hands down.

Well, I do not agree. It's not worse than the american movies usually are.
And I like to watch Alfred Molina. Maybe that's the reason why I found it bearable.

Ah, Alfred Molina.. an English actor playing Poirot.
Now all becomes clear, eh Hastings? :-D
