i have been looking for this myself...it appears that you can get it on amazon.de (the german version) but if you live in the united states, like myself, it probably won't be compatible with your dvd player...i'm still investigating...i suggest just typing in "minoes dvd" in a search engine (if you haven't already) and try finding it that way...if i find anything else, i'll let you know

shareEvery so often I do a search to see what I can find out about getting this film on DVD and ran across this post. I did purchase the one from Amazon Germany and it does not have an English subtitle track on it, although it does play on U.S. machines. To this day I still cannot find another copy with English subtitles! :( I, too, fell inlove with this film a few years ago at a film festival!
shareStrange that it plays on U.S. players. European DVD's are supposed to be Region two, while the U.S. is region one. There are many players available that can handle most regions, but i was under the assumption that they were, strictly speaking, illegal? Anyway, i checked at amazon.com and there is a region one (U.S. + Canada) version available, listed as 'Miaou'. According to the (french) cover it's got both french and english on it, but wether it's audio or subtitles it doesn't say.
shareI don't know why the DVD plays on my machine - but it doesn't matter since I can't understand it anyway! Thank you SO much for pointing me in the right direction - I have been searching for this movie since I saw it @ a film festival several years ago and had no luck in finding an English version - but did not know there was an alternate title. I just ordered and am very excited to receive - thanks for the tip!
shareIt is available in Canada from Christal Films, the UPC number is 8-07581-50486-2. The catalogue number on the spine is 50486. Although it is in widescreen with 5.1 sound, for some strange reason it is in dubbed english or dubbed french. You would think that they would have a soundtrack with the option of Dutch with subtitles. The trailer bonuses are in Dutch. I bought mine in Walmart in Quebec. You might want to check Amazon.ca to see if it is listed.

I bought a copy in Thailand and the cover claimed that the audio was either in Dutch or Thai. The disc menus claimed German or Thai, but the audio is in fact in Dutch and not German. Cost was about $6.
