Question...

This movie was on CTV this month and I missed the ending, I only saw up to when the guy she's "seeing" helps her rob her house and then sells all of her stuff and doesn't give her the money for it. Can someone tell me how she got out of her mess?

She had sex with the loan shark and made out with her mom.

The money she expects to make from selling the loot in her house doesn't work out. The boyfriend cheated her out of the money. Her mom confronts her about the gambling after receiving a troubling bank statement in the mail. Mom tells daughter that she's putting a stop to it and telling dad the next day. Daughter goes to loan sharks house without any money to pay him back. The loan shark and the wife get the girl messed up with booze and pills and it is alluded to that they took advantage of her sexually (some of this is shown, the wife of the loan shark kissing the girl, putting her hand up her shirt, making the girl touch her, all the while they are videotaping and the girl is visibly upset. Mom calls the boyfriend worried about her daughter, she leaves a message on his answering machine, he is there listening to it. Boyfriend shows up at mom and dads and apparently tells mom where the daughter is. Mom shows up at the loan sharks house and forces her way in as the wife of the loan shark opens the door. Mom finds the daughter upstairs partially clothed. Mom and daughter attempt to leave and the loan shark threatens them and mom agrees with him and is let out of the house only to return moments later and hits the loan shark with some steering wheel lock (a popular device that came out in the 90s to which the name of it has me drawing a blank. Next mom, dad, daughter and son are sitting around the table, all looking troubled (no dialogue). Daughter (probably months later) is with a friend at the mall. Friend buys a gift for someone (I forgot who) and the gambling daughter tells her she cannot carry cash as it is prohibited as part of her "recovery". Friend and former gambling girl part ways at the mall, gambler returns gift and receives cash back. She goes to a little gambling machine, something you'd see at a bar. Girl is inserting coins and apparently not winning at whatever game she is playing, film ends. Almost forgot, daughter tells mom while at the loan sharks house (while being threatened) that she set up the burglary of their home, mom says "you think that surprises me"? Great TV movie.
