"Why. Why is this movie so loved? I dont get it."
Because it is one of the best Godzilla films out there, with (mostly) top-notch effects and a story that is fascinatingly compelling in terms of the various themes that it covers (WW2 legacy, nationalism, memory and the very real threat of it being lost, accountability, etc). It's not a perfect film, but it is one of the best Godzillas out there.
"First of, King Ghidorah is a good guy? He does look like a creature that could be an ancient fantasy dragon, but still...isnt it uncorrect?"
He had been made into a "good guy" before as "Mecha-King Ghidorah", plus Toho had altered his origin as being three rat things that just fused together after the bomb dropped in that same film. Compared to that, this is nothing to get angry over.
"Godzilla is revived by the souls of those who died in world war 2?"
They revived Godzilla in order to punish Japan for their deliberate and callous disregard of not only their victims and their crimes, but also their memory as well. In fact, Akira Ifukube and the original creators stated in interviews that Godzilla was such even before this film had been made.
"But the worst thing is the ending. He dies. He is killed by humans."
In the 54 movie he was killed by humans, Dr. Serizawa more specifically. In this, not really - his beating heart is very much suggestive of him not being dead.
"And the costume wasnt that good."
Compared to a lot of Godzilla costumes, it's one of the notably better ones, especially the awful ones from the 60s and 70s.
