Who sings Bonnie Blue Flag?

Who sang the Bonnie Blue Flag in the army camp minstrel show scene? I can't find anything helpful in the credits. The only thing that comes close is "John Whelan, Accordion Player" but I don't think the guy I remember was playing an accordion or any instrument.
