Edgar Wright should direct Fooly Cooly.

After watching Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, I feel there is none more worthy of such a responsibility than Edgar Wright. Could you imagine yet another beloved series executed masterfully on the silver screen?

As long as it doesn't actually happen, it's a nice thought

You're not wrong, however... surely you realize that Scott Pilgrim borrows pretty heavily from FLCL, both in concept and in style. So it's natural that you'd feel that way after seeing Wright's film adaptation.

Scott Pilgrim's great and Wright is a very talented director, but FLCL is perfect as is. It just doesn't need a live action version.

This is the worst thread on this board.

'Scott Pilgrim' was a sh!t movie and doesn't have even a fourth of the heart and creative integrity that 'FLCL' has. Not a fourth!

I'm not sure Fooly Cooly could work as live action, I mean it's just too weird, if audiences largely rejected Scott Pilgrim imagine how they'd react when faced with Fooly Cooly?

but Edgar Wright is probably the only person who could even attempt such a thing
