Submarine 707R?

Has anyone heard of "Submarine 707R"? It was released in 2004, and is apparently based on the same manga that this is. It's strange that two animé OVAs would be released, with only a few years separating them, and be based on the same source material.

Ya your right.

Even the captains name is Hayami. Except I'm told it has 26 episodes. Maybe Blue Submarine No.6 should start making more.

According to Wikipedia, they were two different mangas, written by the same author.
