'I Robot, Really' and Captain Murphy...

is it just me, or is someone else doing Murphy's voice in this episode? I know Harry Goz passed away during production, but to credit him for playing Murphy in this episode when it sounds more like Ellis Henican doing a terrible Murphy impression throughout seems to be in poor taste in my opinion. Can anyone confirm/deny?

It's Goz. Considering it was recorded shortly before he passed away, he may have been quite ill at the time already.
This is correct. He went out with a bang, though! That episode is hilarious!

wikipedia says (in 2 places) Goz died of multiple myeloma which isnt exactly mesothelioma, but it rhymes so I can see why you are confused.

he could have still sounded very ill but you might want to rework your theory as it has been debunked.

If I recall correctly, they had his character wear a helmet in those episodes to explain why his voice was faint sounding. It was, again if I recall correctly, a combination of his illness & recording his lines by phone.

All hail Harry Goz!!!!
