I downloaded a few episodes of this after finishing Archer season 3 (which I love) and this show was recommended. I watched the first 2 episodes and maybe laughed twice.
Is it a slow start, or is it a case of just not my cup of tea? And further, can anyone recommend any other shows similar to Archer?
It gets really good. Pretty much any episode where Captain Murphy is prominently displayed is gonna be great.
shareI think the last two seasons are the best. however. popular opinion is that the first two are best, especially the second.
so, it does get better. Season 1 is very slow-paced compared to the others.
I didn't like the show much at first either.
The problem is that episode one starts, right off the bat, with a fairly unfunny joke that goes on for about 6 minutes.
It took me a while before I started liking the show.

Even if you hate Uwe Boll, give Postal a try, be offended or entertained.
Happy Cupcake Oven was one of the classics, I have yet to see the entire series.
Bizarro was strangely decent, despite the absolute craziness.
