Alexander Oldknow / James Trevelyan

In the list, it says that the James Trevelyan who played Alexander was born in 1948, but Alexander is a child of about 11 in the show. There obviously was a James Trevelyan in it as he has posted a comment, but the link must point to the wrong one. Is it his son, perhaps?
