I was just looking for the same thing - found an auction here: tinyurl.com/phzla - I think this guy has transferred home video tapes to DVD - his feedback is good. However, I\'m not keen on signing up with yet another auction/payment site. If you decide to give this a try, please let us know what the quality was like, and I\'m sure the seller can be persuaded to make another copy available.
shareI have many satisfied customers (nine of them)and my DVD transfer is of very good quality, buying from ebay is not recommended - the ones out there are not always the complete series, some might be complete some our just a rip - As you all know the original BBC series was only shown once, years ago and not many people taped the whole thing. My DVD transfer is COMPLETE and good quality.

Hello i have just come across your messages and was wondering if you would be able to do me a dvd of the children of green knowe? I have been trying to getr a copy of this for a while. i have just succeeded in getting the witches and the grinnygog and it was great! now we are looking for other nostalgic programmes - there were some excellent ones weren't there?

leadingman89 - thank you for the link. I have just ordered the DVD. I love the Green Knowe books and was able to purchase "Memories" which incorporates "Perverse and Foolish" and "Memory in a House" a couple of years ago. The house, is of course, Lucy M. Boston's which inspired her books.
I purchased my book from Cornell Books Ltd - it's in Gloucestershire but no problem having it posted to Australia.

shareI've just ordered a copy of the DVD from www.purenostalg1a.co.uk as a Christmas present for my sister who loved the show as a kid. Only took a few days to arrive and Im very impressed with the picture quality. I didnt know there was only 4 episodes in the series tho.
All in all i am very impressed with the service and recommend in the site to anyone that is wanting to get a hold of a copy of the series

sorry for late reply it's on youtube. only copies I have seen are homemade.
shareIf anyone wants it, I have a copy -- obviously it's not crystal clear re-mastered quality, it looks like homemade VHS-to-DVD standard, but it's more than watchable. I'm happy to rip it and share with anyone who wants it (free of charge if I'm just sending you the video files by email etc.); just reply to this thread if you want it and we'll sort something out. I'll check back periodically. :)
