This game sparked the fandom.

Even though I have Street Fighter Alpha 3 for Ps1...I would still once in a while dust off the old SNES, hook it up, pop in Street Fighter 2 and play just for Old times sake. I used to spend most of my time in the sound test listening to the characters' music.....Guile's was the best IMO.

i remember when i first found out about this game i was about 5 or 6 and a 7 11 store nere my house had a sf2 cab my dad would walk me almost 10 blocks every friday night to 7 11 just to play sf and dad would play with me
