no mention of Flying Padre of The Seafarers?


The only documentary of his that this film mentions is Day of the Fight. Cruise's narration only implies that Kubrick "made two more documentaries", and then went right on to making Killer's Kiss.

Why couldn't they at least show clips from Flying Padre? Kubrick's fans would really be intrigued that he made a short film about a reverend who comes to the rescue on his airplane. I personally thought it was an exciting film. On the contrary, I thought The Seafarers was boring as hell, but still... Kubrick's fans would probably be amused that he actually made a sailor propoganda film. They should have shown clips from both of these projects!
