Who's Who in This Documentary?

Maybe it's just me, but was anyone else annoyed by the lack of identifications in the shots of the various commentators in this documentary? Some of the talking heads were obvious and well-known, or at least identifiable in context, but a few lesser-known actors (e.g., Leon Vitali) and non-actors were not. The talking-head segments were well-used in this excellent tribute, but the filmmakers displayed a certain snobbish conceit in not identifying the people involved, on-screen. Silly, uncommunicative, and unnecessarily "hipper than thou."

I agree.

I was watching it on TCM and thought for a second that the reason for this was that it may have been incorrectly cropped for TV---although it didn't look cropped at all.

In the Leon Vitali interview I had no idea who he was, although he looked familiar. For a while the only clue was a "Barry Lyndon" poster behind him and then piecing together what he was saying, imagining him 25-years younger, etc....

Then I found a 10-minute clip on Youtube and the people ARE identified; even Spielberg is. Plus, the text is in an area that would've showed up on TV. I don't know if the Youtube poster added the text or not, but I assume they just ripped it from a DVD.

Hope TCM repeats the broadcast with proper titles.
