At all available outside of box set?

Without finding it used from someone who sold them all separately, is there anyway to get this individually without having to buy the box set over? My dad already has all of Kubrick's films, and would love to have this, but it's not normally retail. Is ebay the only place most likely?

although it is not yet released

reply

January 1st, 2010? is that a mistake?

reply

Amazon gives all movies that do not have a release date set a date of January 1, 2010. I would not get my hopes up, I am almost tempted to delete my previous post.

I doubt they live in Australia

Do you have a library near your home?
If they have a large network of libraries you might be able to order the box set from one of the branches.
That way you can see the documentary without buying the whole set.

That's what I did.

reply

I dont know what I would do without SBS... :)

reply

I just saw it today on HBO

reply

Does anyone know if it will be released to where you can buy it without buying the box set?

reply

Wish I knew about single DVD issue, too. Anyone help?

I saw a set of nine on Ebay at USD45 -- pretty good. But there's a demand pent up for the LIFE item. Let's hope.

reply

dude go for it, it was a very good buy. I'm a very satisfied customer.

reply

did anyone order the $2.99 DVD? Is it pirated or what? Does it have good picture quality?

reply

You guys, I bought the $2.99 one - it's not pirated, it's perfect quality, and I highly doubt that it is used - have fun

reply

So is it just a used copy or something? I'll probably buy it from them, as it doesn't look like it is available anywhere else.

"Eek! It's on the Special Broadcasting Service right now. "

I saw much of it back then and I bought it in a box set (the DVD was packaged with Christiane Kubrick's book of the same name, it is not the one with a lot of his films) yesterday. It was $59.95 (Australian), down from $139.95.

For anyone who may care, this documentary comes packaged with A Clockwork Orange in the newer blu-ray edition. The one that is a book-style package.
