She helped her father out on his films more than any of his children, she's in archive footage, but I wondered why she isn't in this film at all?

Haha. Maybe she feels more comfortable behind the camera. She did Making of The Shining and it was fantastic.

Vivian has been estranged from her family since 1999, wich is probably the reason why she did not appear in the documentary.

I think it's because she joined the Church of Scientology at the end of the nineties, and it broke her father's heart. He tried real hard to get her out of it, but in vain.
