Except for Anna Massey and Colin Firth and Tom Wilkinson. The dreaming scenes were all glitter with nylon !! I think it must have been the lighting . All the actors have thick bright makeup. Come on Rupert you should be able to act a girl s lover better than that!!!!

I don't even understand the OP. Are you saying that only AM, CF and TW acted well? OK. I disagree and thought everyone did a good job given it was an adaption of a play, and my understanding is that the play called for what might be viewed as "overacting" or stylized acting. Maybe that kind of acting is not to your liking.
