The difference between the professor in How High and Ted from HIMYM

the professor in how high had a certain type of personality where you can't call him a certain word. this word is racist but it's not just racist. it translates well into economist and infuriates people of all races when they're called this (but not for the racism). it's like the person is better or correct but in a way that's not proper anymore so now he's better off being wrong.

this professor is the dude that beats the economist because he knows he can call other people economists and then they can't call him that... but the point is he can be both proper and **right** or **correct**, there's not a trade off.

But this is the problem with that guy.... what happens when everyone is having an economist moment and no one cares hooting and hollering and he can't win his game... to be that guy is impressive, it's like you have it all, but it's also unsustainable. one day a vein is going to pop or worse...

but ted from HIMYM is not even smart... for example when his buddy barney got him a building contract from the bank, the building that was not built would have been an engineering marvel, pushing technology forward... just if they could do this this is amazing for man kind.... everyone is having an ecnoomist moment and then he wins cuz of his buddy but he don't even get it because he's not that smart and he don't care... this professor guy in how high he gets it but he wants to say it's not a trade. that's why he's not annoying that way, it's just he needs to understand that he's too much for normal people to really mimick, something's going to break...

It's just too much pressure to have it all, which is part of the problem to begin with...
