A Few Questions (massive spoilers)

I owned this movie briefly a few weeks ago, but I sold it because I needed cash and I didn't like all the F words, lol.

I am curious about some parts which I didn't really understand.

A) Whatever happened to the one woman who was seduced by the other woman (the blindfold scene).
Was she locked in the basement to be the next meal?

B) Was Trent shot with a real bullet (like the doctor said, and it came out the same hole), or was it something else?

C) Why did John do what he did to Trent?

D) What happened to John at the end?
Was he eaten, fired, christened with the name of mud?

E) WHAT was the deal with the guy who was the lead in the movie within the movie lying "dead" with a scary erection?
That was disturbing, to say the least.
I'm assuming that part was a scene in the movie they were making in the movie...

I might have other questions later, but those three are the only ones I can come up with right now.

I doubt that even the people who were involved in this mess of a movie could answer your questions. This movie was confusing as heck.

Just my guesses:

a.) probably locked up, carved, and served. Remember what happened to Malkovich's equally-vulnerable character earlier? ;-)

b.) Yup, but the Italian doctor was just too lazy or negligent to find it. Maybe it did come out-- who knows?

c.) Uh, HE wanted to direct. He thought his "vision" of Malfi was better than Trent's (and notice how poorly he does it when he finally gets the reins-- rem. Trent's tears?).

d.) see letter a (above)

e.) Have you ever seen The World According to Garp? Rem. how Glenn Close's character tells us about how she became pregnant?

I'd agree, though-- there must have been other ways to tell us he was "alert."

Great questions! Certainly the kind of movie that provokes them, huh?
