Ok, my memory is kinda slipping away (either that or the kids succeeded in finally driving me crazy), but can someone go into detail as of what Jupiter did for a living, where did all his money comes from, and why was he originally not involved with Slim?. For the life of me I just can't remember!! Grrr!!

He owned a company (CEO). The type of company he owned was not revealed, but it looked like it might be a media-type or Internet company.
He was a *player*, a love-em-and-leave-em type. He suspected that he was Slim's dad (judging by her letters to him when her mom died, but ignored it) but refused to have anything to with the whole situation.
But when Slim gives him his necklace back, combined with the visit from Mitch's thugs, he knew it was true. Part of him felt bad, but most of it seemed to stem from Jupiter's own ego.
He despised that these thugs were 'telling him what to do.'
So he helped Slim.
