DVD rip off....

Did anyone else have this happen to them? The back of the DVD claims the movie is in Korean, but in reality it's in English? Totally ruined the movie for me. Did anyone else have this problem?

reply

did you select the right audio option

reply

nope mines is in korean

reply

Use the audio track option you retard. ALWAYS check the the audio selection menu before playing an asian flick, most of them default to English.

reply

Ah yes thank you, because I wouldn't think to hit the audio track button jackass.

Thanks for all your help.

Welcome to the world of DVDs, where there are multiple languages and subtitles for you to choose!!!

reply

did you read a single post above this or just kind of jump in? There was no other audio option, just the english dubbing

reply

You either have a very weird bootleg then or that your system is messed up. There is no R1 for this movie yet. All the international versions have the Korean language. So you need to check it or get an exchange. Maybe you switched to DTS and you don't have DTS encoder?

reply

i already traded it back in, and the new one works

I always make sure to get mine from a specific guy on Ebay because with foreign flicks you have to be careful. Either you get one with no english subs or the subs are TRASH and you can't comprehend them very well.

So if I get foreign flicks it's from only one source.

I'm not posting it because I don't wanna seem like it's my site and I'm just trying to get people to buy from me. lol
