Where's this come from?

I noticed this entered the bottom 100 a few days ago in about position 70 or something, now it's in the bottom 10.
I've never heard of it before.

And there it must remain.

Vote .com For Murder for your least favourite film. You know it makes sense. Just press the big button that says 1!

Yes, I've noticed this also and it's pretty lame. In March 2004 .com For Murder had a rating of 3.4/10 (226 votes). At that time it was already 3 years old so now you'd maybe expect 3.-something and about 400 votes? But no, 1.8/10 (1,550 votes) bottom 100: #2. Blatantly the work of one or a few individuals trying to bring this director down.

Or, perhaps, it just appeared on some TV, somewhere? That usually brings sudden rise in votes...

nico mastorakis (or nicos), well, he is not a very popular man in his home country greece. many people hate him (me included) for some things he did in the past (long time ago in his twenties, about in 60-70), he was a journalist supporting an illegal greek goverment. recently he stated a weekly show in greece, and i thing what is going on with the votes is a result of many greek people that are just angry with him.

Utter nonsense. After years of much of his movies having less than 200 votes and typical B-movie ratings of 3 to 4/10, there's not a chance that thousands of Greek's have just suddenly got angry with this guy and decided to add over 1000 votes of 1 to ALL of his movies in the last couple of months.

Well, it's been on TV lately. Possibly, other people have seen it and decided to vote. I, myself, haven't watched it yet.

I think that maybe the audience have started to discover Nico Mastorakis. If you take a closer look on the IMDb worst movies for some months now, he has had 5 movies on different places (The Naked Truth, Ninja Academy, Glitch, To koritsi vomva and .com for murder). I remember that there was a period when ".com for murder" was in #3 and "To koritsi vomva" in #1. I remember the time when he was about to leave for the USA and was talking about this movie on his radio show, which is by far the best thing he has ever done up to now, and he was saying that he was going to the USA to shoot a film with Nastasjia Kinski and when he came back he said she was too neurotic to work with, mentioned nothing about the film being awful though. Anyway, it deserves being in Bottom 100 and maybe he got the place it reserved. Talking about a new Ed Wood or something? Who knows !
