Movies are worse than now than before

I looked on IMDB's bottom 100 list and have found that the percentage of them were made in the following decades.

1960'S: 9 Movies on the list
1970's: 5 Movies on the list
1980's: 20 Movies on the list
1990's: 34 Movies on the list
2000-2006: 32 Movies on the list

Seeing as though the decade is not over yet, it looks like the currebt decade will push onwards and be in the lead. However, in order to be fair, I will record which movies make up the 250-best list.

Truly this is a terrible film.But comparitively speaking it should not even make the top 100 worst films.One of the reasons that some older movies aren't on the list is that no one knows about them.Such films as attack of the eye creatures,Frankenstein meets the space monster,Giant Spider invasion,mayhem(Merhi),Breakaway(dash),the Brainiac,and many others are much worse than the majority of movies on the bottom 100.I have a group of friends who get together about twice a month just to watch the worst movies we can find.We call it Cinema terrible'.I seem to think that 1965-65 was one of the worst two years ever for bad cinema.It includes such wonders as wild world of batwoman,monster a go-go,manos the hands of fate,eye creatures,red Zone cuba,and the aforementioned frankenstein meets the space monster.Ydnar

Really bad fims don't stand the test of time and so don't get shown on TV, meaning people aren't aware of tgem, unless you have a special interest in cinema.

I guess you can never know. Bad movies from elder decades are now considered cult, so you may know that they are bad, but who cares. Maybe in 20 years you'll see these films getting better ratings. This is how things work especially in the movies and music.

If the internet was around since the beginning of cinema, there probably would be little room for movies from the last two decades.

60s and 70s would probably dominate since it was a time when anyone could pick up a camera and shoot pretty much nothing and find a theater to show it in. many of these movies are so bad they are long forgotten and unseen outside of a few weeks running in theaters decades ago.

Many of the films on IMDBs list are from MST3K because its one of the few ways these bad films were kept in the social conscious. Without MST3k, the list would probably be almost nothing but 90s and 2000s films.

In other words, IMDBs list is pretty meaningless.
