I cant believe I used to find this funny.

I genuinely used to enjoy watching this show and found it quite amusing, however I've just watched two episodes of the last series and its so unfunny its unbelievable. I don't know why they carried on without Ralf Little seeing as he was a huge part of the show. Apparently they are bringing it back for another series with a different cast and a new writer. May I just ask what the hell is the point of that. The last series was awful, truly awful so why carry on???

The viewing figures have gone down actually and I expect they will continue to do so until the BBC cancel it.

Judging by your reaction to my last comment i take it you are a fan of this pathetic excuse for a sitcom, i am normally of the rule that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but i draw the line at this pathetic excuse for a sitcom and it is of my opinion that anybody who enjoys this pathetic excuse for a sitcom must be an imbecile or mentally retarded and will thus be put on the ignore list.

I will not be returning to these boards again.

reply

Wow! The line has been drawn! I may lose some sleep over this.

I anxiously await seeing the inside of your ignore list.

reply

Yeah my mates thought this was funny til I showed them REAL comedys like Fraiser and Only Fools.

reply

Actually the show was not bad and better than what the critics thought.

Its that man again!!

reply

real comedies like Fraiser ... nice.

reply

Like every comedy series carried on too long, it became an unfunny parody of itself and finally a twitching corpse in the corner, being poked with burnt sharpened sticks as the occasional passing writer tried a new gag on it.
It was good, sometimes very good, at its peak, but the producer/s didn't know when to let it die gracefully.
