Hey does anyone remember that room makeover show that had that gay asian guy? He wasn't over the top femme but you knew he was gay when you saw him

The guy who just joined the cast? Goil? He is from Top Design on Bravo and the other asian was Vern Yip he was on Design Star on HGTV and also has his own show there

No this guy was on the show back around 1999 or 2000. Was that this show? Hell I can't remember. Surprise By Design was Robert Verdi so I know it wasn't that show. (That show only had those two hosts, right?)

Yes, I think you're referring to Vern Yip -- who got his feet wet as part of the "Trading Spaces" cast in its early years.
