The Little Rascals musical short titled "Our Gang Follies 1938" was the best Rascals ever! They did such a great job singing all the songs from that time period. And the tap dancing was the best. From the songs "The Love Bug" to "You're The One For Me" and "Learn To Croon"!
If you don't own acopy of "Our Gang Follies 1938". Do yourself a favor and go buy it on DVD today!
It kind of makes me wonder what became of the non-Our Gang members who managed to make a lasting impression in this short.
Like, for example, the couple who sang "Foolish Feeling" and "You're The One For Me."
I've wondered as well, what ever became of those little people. They were so good. They should have used them alot more in other Rascal musical shorts. I also love the black kids tap dancing. That was so cute. And they did a great job. Alot of our gang follies videos cut that part out now. Because they think it will offend black people. Not because the black kids were tap dancing. It's because they had the black kids dressed as maids and bellboys. Sign of the times. It's a shame, they did such a good job. And everybody should be able to see it.
