Janet Burston - Our Gang's Last 'Leading Lady'

Poor Janet Burston, it's tough enough being a child star then in her later years she had to deal with a lot of "critics" raking her over the coals for her performances in OUR GANG. I actually thought she was quite good in the series. No, she wasn't Darla Hood but that's no reason to trash her acting. It's sad she spent her last years in obscurity, if the "Our Gang" buffs had showed her a little more love maybe she would have made personal appearances and could have told us a lot about working in the series.
