Uncle Scrooge's accent - what?

The voice of Uncle Scrooge is apparently supposed to be Scottish (building on the fact that Scots are allegedly tight with their money). Sakes alive - what a rubbish accent! Couldn't the studio give a Scot in LA a few bucks to come in and do it properly?

The whole thing is a disaster compared to what Disney used to come up with in the 40s and 50s. This is just mass-produced junk - the animation is bad and mechanical (outsourced, as indeed it was) and the script is simplistic.
