I cannot get past this part...

Perhaps this ain't the place to ask, but I have "Enter The Matrix" for Gamecube, and I am completely stuck at the part where, as Niobe, you are in the airplane with Axel and you have to rescue him. Everytime the level starts, I have enough time to turn around and see him tied up before a friggin' bomb explodes! I have tried to work around this a hundred times to no avail. what the Hell am I doing wrong?

I'm starting to see why I got this game for 6.99 though...

I was upset cuz I had no shoes. Then I met a man with no feet. And I laughed, really hard!

I think he means the bomb goes off when you're playing with a cheat, as I was. I was the one who posted this question, by the way, under my old account. Thanks for answering, it makes perfect sense now.
