I saw this documentary a couple of years ago and have been searching for the video ever since. Can anyone out there please help me?

i have a copy of it...a friend of mine recorded it when it was aired...he converted to my computer for me...

I'd love to get my hands on this video if you have it. Could you please send it my way. I've heard of it, but never seen it. I did see the one National Geographic put our called, Conspiracy Moon Landing, and it rattled my brain. A lot of good stuff, but it's backed up. I want to see if the Fox show is any different.
Really, I'd just like one question answered from NASA, if our technology is so advanced today, why haven't we been to the moon in the last 30 years? Okay one other question. How about pointing that all mighty telescope advertised on Fox News a few years ago about being able to come up close and personal with a house shot from space? I did see that technology.

Really, I'd just like one question answered from NASA, if our technology is so advanced today, why haven't we been to the moon in the last 30 years?

Why haven't we gone back to the deepest part of the ocean since Trieste, why did it take 40 years from Amundsen and Scott before anyone returned to the South Pole, why can't we fly the Atlantic at twice the speed of sound any more? In all cases, the answer has to do with economic and scientific priorities.

Okay one other question. How about pointing that all mighty telescope advertised on Fox News a few years ago about being able to come up close and personal with a house shot from space? I did see that technology.

Overhyped. The VLTI is still not fully operational, and unlikely to be able to image an Apollo LM on the lunar surface even when it is, due to its poor performance with low-contrast subjects. See:

I bought the video "A Funny Thing Happened on The Way To The Moon" and it is not the one that was aired on FOX in 2001. It is not worth the money as it is not the same as the FOX version and you will be sadly disappointed if you purchase it, take my word, I was.

The easiest way is to use a file sharing network such as Kazaa or Limewire. I just typed in "fox tv moon hoax" or words to that effect, and was able to find the full 44 minute video (130MB).

I can see the arguments supporting a lunar landing, but he one thing that keeps getting in the way is the Van Allen Belts. I still maintain that the radiation levels were too high for the crews of the Apollo missions to traverse them safely. I've heard the "they went through it fast so they wouldn't get dangerous doses of radiation" theory many many times, but I don't buy it because it's physically inconsistent.

Here's an analogy: if you get shot in the head and die, does it matter if the gun the bullet came from cost $50 or $5,000? My point is that one hour or one day in the Van Allen Belts nets the same result: dangerous, if not fatal exposure.

The relatively light construction of the LEM and the suits the astronauts wore also leaves some room for speculation.

In your opinion, the belts were too dangerous for the astronauts to travel through. On what facts are you basing that opinion? How much radiation do the belts contain, and how much did the astronauts get exposed to? How much can the body withstand? I've been trying to get these answers from somewhere--Thanks.

One of the astronauts thought that exposure to high-energy particles from the Sun and outside the solar system may have contributed to the leukemia he suffered later in life. The Moon landing missions were designed to minimize exposure to the Van Allen regions, and timed to avoid periods when they were at high energy levels, so they're not a substantial cause for concern. If there had been a coronal mass ejection from the Sun, the astronauts would have been killed by the radiation, but that didn't happen.
