Yeah I have completely forgot the Scary movies...Scary movie #1 and #2 have higher scores....
Btw I think Not another Teen Movie has it's own Story too!
It's the highest rated because it's the best. It's the best because it's not at all connected to those other movies. The creators of Scary/Epic/Date Movie are idiots who just cram pop culture references in without any jokes. Not Another Teen Movie is actually really funny.

Not even close. Scary movie is rated a 6.0 for instance. The highest rated spoof film on this entire site I'm pretty sure is 'The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!'. It's rated a 7.6
There are many others too that are higher, including The Naked Gun Sequels and other older ones like 'Hot Shots!', it's rated a 6.5

I think the op was discounting the naked gun and aiplane etc, and refering to the modern spoofs that are increasingly common these days and mostly terrible. i don't think this is as good as the scary movie trilogy (im not counting SM4 cos its as bad as the other spoofs) but it's defeniatly next best. Epic movie, disaster movie, meet the spartans, etc were all terrible unfunny junk MO and i like parodies

shareThis is my absolute favorite spoof movie and it's witty and funny. This movie isn't that popular though I mean everyone I've asked if they have seen this movie has said no and never heard of it. It's alot better than the scary movies imo.

shareScary Movie 1, Hot Shots Part Deux, Don't Be A Menace, and Airplane 1 are the best spoofs ever. No of the others even compare. Not Another Teen is hilarious though.
