the football field dance scene was from 10 things i hate about you
the football game was from lucas and varsity blues
the party scene with amanda was from can't hardly wait
and, a ton of references were from she's all that
the old lady cast as a teen references Never Been Kissed.
The scene where that same lady kisses Mia Kirschner references Cruel Intentions
the scene with Janey making her prom dress references Pretty In Pink
the scene with Janey's friend at prom wearing the outfit with the bolo tie also references Ducky's outfit in Pretty In Pink
And many more references to Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, etc.
