On TV on Christmas: Congratulations to the makers!

My congratulations to the makers of this wonderful production: It was to be seen on german primetime TV on Christmas. A major breakthrough considering mainstream media still ignoring this important topic.

You are right: Stalingrad is a topic that got as much covering as hardly any other battle - at least in the german media circus. But this movie neither is dealing with the operation barbarossa (the attack on russia) nor with Stalingrad: Its main character is a prisoner of war in the northeast of the soviet union after worldwar 2. The treatment these mainly combat footsoldiers recieved was terrible and a majority of them died as pow´s. The other secret topic is the rapings and killings against german women and children after worldwar two, mainly committed by soviet troops flooding into germany in 1945.
