Clearly based on Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard

I'd suggest reading The Bare Faced Messiah then watching this (The Bare Faced Messiah was blocked from release in the US but the author has made it readily available to download and I highly recommend it). It's basically a loose adaptation of L. Ron Hubbard's portrayal in that book.

The movie itself is poorly made, it looks like a low budget Lifetime TV movie. The acting isn't that great. If you have interests in cults and Scientology it is worth watching. I've researched certain cults rather extensively so I found the movie interesting.
