phenominal movie....acting a lil' over the top

Coming from experience with the LA rahab system and sober livings...the storyline is right on the money. Familiar with one halfway house in particular (Todd Bridges in Marina Del Rey) I'd almost bet the writer experience at least a month or two of that madness.

The acting throughout the first half of the movie had been WAY over the top, but as the film progressed, the characters settle into their rolls just fine. It's a shame the acting hadn't been so consistent.

Mayhem, death, and miracles are what recovery is all about, and this story blends all the colors perfectly. That's if you make it through the horrible acting in the first half.

Hoping to see more movies produced by John Cusack...he's a good guy and deserves to grow as a producer....and if you see this John, I hope you've grown and moved on from Mario's...that place is seriously unhealthy.
