i can tell anyone who is primarily white and hates black people and their culture, voted 1 for this movie, im white and i understand the trife and hardships growing up in the hood, this movie portrayed the everyday activities of a gang member in LA, if you diddnt like the movie, than why did you sit through it and even bother to rate it, get a *beep* life

all that aside, i was entertained by this. the film was well produced and felt really natural. i only felt like a few scenes could have been better with a script, though it may have shown weak acting. that being said, in those scenes the viewer is drawn in and it can easily be overlooked.
in all, it was a good addition to the "home video" genre. if the purpose of this film was to entertain then it served its purpose, however, if it was to somehow make me sympathize with these people it fell short. i am white. i dont hate "black people and their culture", but any civilized person has to hate the acts and characters depicted in this film. at the end of the day i can say i liked the film, and if i voted i would probably give it a 6, which to me is a respectable score and just barely under the imdb score.
