I watched this movie on Netflix on my xbox and I thought overall it was really good, the only thing that bugs me is the ending.
In the desription it said that the tapes were later turned over to the LAPD but they make no reference to this happening.
Plus it didn't seem to be a worthy ending to the story. Kris's mom didnt sound at all like a panicked mother who just saw her child shot.
And at what point did serial go back to prison?
Great movie, bad ending.

Yea I was also disappointed that the LAPD didn't go over the tape on screen. I knew all along that Kris would die for them to get access to the tape but I didn't think once he died so did the filming.
I also agree that the mom was not convincing at the end with her cry but that was bad acting on her part.
Serial went to prison after their car was shoot up, but there was no mention at the cause. But I guess since he was hot headed he wanted to retaliate and got caught.
