im sure i missed something, because i wasnt able to understand any of the indian speeches. can someone translate the main meanings at least, please ?

Grew up in Many Farms, Az on the Navajo Rez and didn't recognize any of it.

Were there no sub-titles on the DVD/film you saw? I got the French DVD and the subtitles are all on there - for the French bits at the beginning and for the Native American bits later on. With regards to the mountain, the Prussian wanted the gold, while Wally wanted the peyote/enlightenment.

I thought this was a good film, didn't expect too much coming to it and I was pleasantly surprised.

I just watched a copy without subs for the first hour until I realised there were meant to be some... I have to say that I actually prefer the movie without them.
